Review by hotel critic
As a travel consultant with a love for family escapes, I had the pleasure of taking my family to Las Marias de Nahuel for a ski and chill week in Bariloche. Traveling from the Maldives, we're always in search of new adventures, and this destination certainly delivered. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, accommodating our two kids perfectly. While some aspects showed signs of age, the overall layout was functional, allowing us to enjoy family meals together. The location was convenient for skiing, with easy access to both the slopes and the serene lakefront—ideal for our little ones to explore. One thing to note is that the stairs can be a bit tricky for younger children; we had to keep a close eye on our toddler. The staff, though lacking in English, were welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. We appreciated that there was a kitchen where we could prepare simple meals, considering breakfast wasn’t included. All in all, Las Marias de Nahuel offered our family a great balance of relaxation and adventure. We hope to return for another memorable family vacation!
